Welcome to New Covenant Theology Blog

New Covenant Theology is very misunderstood.New Covenant Theology is based upon the principle that the Law of Moses has been both done away with (abrogated) and fulfilled by Christ.

New Covenant Theology is destroyed in the hearts of men by importing the Law of Moses into this theology incorrectly.

Therefore, New Covenant Theology must reject Dispensationalism, Covenant Theology, free will, and conviction of sin by the law of Moses*. If this knowledge is forbidden from being taught in a fellowship, that fellowship is false! Separate from false fellowship, even if it means staying home, and do not become a servant of it.

The above warning applies to Messianic Jews. It is better to fellowship online with me than to stay in a fellowship that fails to understand progress in redemptive history. In fact, at some point you must separate from the Messianic Jewish fellowship.

The New Covenant man is made up of some Jews and some Gentiles. However, few find the way because the way is by sovereign grace alone. But that includes faith to the end. And Paul spoke about the times of the Gentiles running out! But that truth does not give license for Jews to seek the answer in Dispensationalism.

Faith does not end at the beginning of justification. Abraham was justified by faith many times. Paul teaches, correctly, that justification is a status. Once in Christ, always in Christ. Yet, faith is counted as righteousness throughout the life of the Christian as it was for Abraham.

Doctrine, or the way that keeps folks from falling into the legalism of false teachers, many who claim to be for New Covenant Theology, is crucial. I hope you search this blog and search the essential reading for newbies for an more complete understanding of New Covenant Theology.

* The Protestant/Catholic error regarding initial salvation is that they confuse condemnation with saving conviction. They are not the same. It is false doctrine to teach that they are the same. Condemnation comes by the law. But gospel conviction is not the same and the first does not lead to the second.
All men have consciences that accuse or excuse them according to Paul (Rom 2:15). But GOSPEL CONVICTION by the Sword of the Spirit  is quite different and is NOT related to the universal experience of conscience that in NO WAY brings one closer to Christ

Did you ever notice that the hydrophobic believers in Jesus want to be saved like the thief on the cross? Their argument is the thief was not baptized in water, and was still saved. Thief proponents fail to mention that the thief was also saved without being born of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit of promise had not been given at that time. So the logical conclusion would be that men, today, can be saved without being born of water and the Spirit. (John 3:5 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.")

The question is why do men, today, not petition to be saved like Enoch?

Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

1.Enoch did not believe Jesus was the Son of God. Was Enoch saved? YES.
    2. Enoch did not confess that God raised Jesus from the dead. Was Enoch saved? YES.
    3. Enoch was not baptized in water. He was not immersed for the forgiveness of sins. Was Enoch saved? YES.
    4. Enoch did not believe that Jesus shed His blood on the cross so he could have his sins washed away. Was Enoch saved? YES.
    5. Was Enoch born of the Spirit? No. The Holy Spirit of promise was not given until the Day of Pentecost. Was Enoch saved? YES.

Can men, today, be saved like Enoch? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Men, today, can only be saved by meeting the terms for pardon under the New Covenant; also know as the New Testament, the New Will, the New Agreement, the New Promise.

Luke 23:39-43...And He said to him, :Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."

    1. The thief believed Jesus was the Christ. Was the thief saved?YES.
    2. The thief repented. (He turn from sin and turned toward God). Was the thief saved? YES.
    3. The thief did not confess that God had raised Jesus from the dead. Was the thief saved? YES.
    4. The thief was not immersed in water for the forgiveness of his sins. Was the thief saved? YES.
    5. The thief was not born of the Spirit? The thief did not receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Was the thief saved? YES.

Can men, today, be saved like the thief on the cross?ABSOLUTELY NOT. Men, today, can only be saved by meeting the terms of pardon under the New Covenant.

The New Covenant came into effect after the death of Jesus, on the Day of Pentecost.

Hebrews 9:16-17 For where a covenant is, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it. 17 For a covenant is valid only when men are dead, for it is never in force while the one who made it lives.

Note: The book of Acts contains several conversions that took place under the New Covenant. There is no record of anyone saying.
    A. I do not have to believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
    B. I do not have to be born of water and the Spirit.
    C. I do not have to confess that Jesus was resurrected from the grave by God in order to be saved.
    D. I do not have to be immersed in water in order to be saved.
    E. I do not have to repent, (Turn from sin and turn to God), in order to be saved.

    FAITH: John 3:16
    REPENTANCE: Acts 2:38
    CONFESSION: Romans 10:9-10
    BAPTISM: Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21, Mark 16:16

  2. You are incorrect. Enoch most certainly believed in the future messiah. Don't forget, Job believed in the future messiah and was saved. True, there are statements that say the least in the Kingdom of God are greater than John the Baptist but that is because of progress in redemption and the new covenant blessing.

But all of this that you say regarding Enoch having no faith in the messiah is mistaken. Take a look at Hebrews 11. You are mistaken in your opinion's Steve.

    1. So, Enoch was one mentioned in Hebrews 11 where it is said of all these saints:

3 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

    2. So, Steve you are a liar according to the book of Hebrews.

Revelation Timeline

This timeline of the Book of Revelation, written after the destruction of the temple in 70 AD, was originally posted at this static page on this blog entitled Essential Articles/END TIMES:

Here is a brief timeline regarding the Book of Revelation. Clearly, the book of Revelation was written after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. The real destruction was to follow.

And clearly also, most of the prophets who were killed were killed in Jerusalem. The Great City clearly refers to Jerusalem multiple times. However, the destruction of the beast does not. I am putting this timeline out there. I believe it has merit and makes more sense than other timelines, especially Dispensationalist timelines which are created out of thin air:

1. Rev chapter 18 speaks to the destruction of Jerusalem but was written after the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD. It could speak to the completed destruction after 70 AD, in 135 AD, when Jerusalem was literally ploughed under. In 70 AD, 30,000 He…

Predestined to Hell

The human mind cannot always take in the sobering reality of predestination. We who are predestined are greatful, but sorrowful. We know many we love are not so predestined. It hurts. Paul said he could wish that he would suffer if his kinsmen would be saved.

But it is also that same Apostle Paul who told the truth in Romans chapter 9, that some vessels were created for special use, like fancy kitchenware, and others were created for menial use, to be thrown away.

The truth is, sin is created by those who are not kept from it. The devil and Adam created sin in their acts of defiance, having been permitted to have a will apart from the will of God. They used that will to create sin. It is always that way. Only God is good, and only His Will is sinless.

So then, there are a few predestined to heaven, through God given faith. And there are many, including many who believed in predestination like Calvin and the Protestants, who are predestined to hell. They were created for menial use onl…

God Hates Master Race Idea. Donald Trump Embraces It

1. God hates the master race concept. Christians believe that Satan works among all leaders of the physical nations. However, the doctrine that is most Satanic is the one that proposes there is a master race. Donald Trump believes he is part of a master race, that he has the master race gene, through possessing German Blood. This is pure Satan. If you vote for Satan, it is your right, but you are putting the nation in grave danger.

So Trump said from the video:

A. He has a certain gene.
B. He has a winning gene.
C. He has German Blood.
D. He has the right genes. (Others must have the wrong genes.)

If you put the three of these statements together, along with a statement from his exwife that he kept a copy of Hitler's Mein Kampf on his nightstand, there is no other conclusion than he believes he has the master race gene. There is no other possible conclusion.

From Wikipedia:

...The ideology of Nazism was based upon the conception of the Aryan race or Germanic peoples being a master …
