Pastor Robert Jeffress calls freedom from religion a ‘perverted idea’ | The Raw Story

Pastor Robert Jeffress calls freedom from religion a ‘perverted idea’ | The Raw Story

The First Amendment protects all free speech. This perverse thinker who claims to be a Christian is wrong in saying it doesn't. Where does he get off saying such things? Separation of church and state assures that this guy will never have political power over anyone because he is grossly unfit if he tried.

I predict that no mega church pastor will be saved. I predict they all will go to hell. If you have a hard time understanding my position perhaps you should carefully read this blog and the links about doctrine and faith at the top of the blog.

Best wishes to you!

Judgement and Sorrow in the Very Last Days

Without question, one of the most sobering and disturbing scenes was of the Japanese tsunami. This was clearly among those judgements spoken of in Revelation, that was to be poured out upon the earth. One cannot help but feel compassion for the victims, yet with the understanding that this is an act of judgement upon the earth in general. This, along with Katrina and the Indonesia tsunami are examples of extreme events that shook the world.

Maher: ‘Religion, it’s like Wikipedia. Anyone can write something in.’ | The Raw Story

While the writing in of superfluous rules is something the Catholics were good at doing, like the Pharisees of old, some religion is true religion.

But there are few that really have been called to true religion these days. That fulfills the prophesy of Christ when he asked if there would be faith on the earth when He returned.

The Bible stands on its own, with no need for Catholic enhancement of rules and so forth.

I don't know what Maher believes in general and it would also, most likely, be disappointing for me. His politics I can live with, but he is likely no closer to the truth than are the Catholics.

Americans Say Homosexuality a Civil Rights Issue - Religion Today Blog

Americans Say Homosexuality a Civil Rights Issue - Religion Today Blog

We have a political system that allows for tolerance. My personal opinion is that it is better to err on the side of tolerance than it is to err on the side of repression of views and world views.

Civil rights abuse destabilizes society in the long run. So, tolerating that which we don't believe does give America a lot of political stability. Now if the banks could just give us some economic stability.

ONE | Join the fight against extreme poverty

ONE | Join the fight against extreme poverty

Here is a talk at the TED conference where a bunch of wealthy folks get together and discuss world affairs.

While Christ said there will always be poor people, it is heartening that many cases of extreme hunger are being challenged and reduced.

From a Christian perspective, few mighty, wealthy and powerful are called to be Christians. Election is by grace, not by man's choice, called free will. But God pours rain, which sustains life, on the just and unjustified. The wealthy have their reward already, in the form of riches and power.

World watches as papal conclave begins second day

World watches as papal conclave begins second day

God hates the Roman Empire. God hates the UK financial manifestation of that empire and the religious manifestation of that empire, the Papacy.  See my doctrinal page at the top of my blog, Newcovenanttheology.com and  understand that the false ban of sex among those who think they are God's preachers can only lead to legalism, failure, sexual deviancy with children. They are not God's preachers because they do not know God. They are hated by God.

The religion of truth does not permit the false doctrine of free will, covenant theology and other destruction of faith. True faith will not destruct.

Protestantism is simply Papalism in slightly different form. God hates Protestantism as well.

New Covenant Theology: New Covenant Theology Doctrine; Christian Liberty

New Covenant Theology: New Covenant Theology Doctrine: 2. God has given the elect a liberty in Christ. Christian liberty means that the true believers are free from elemental religion in the New Covenant. In the age of liberty, created things are neither holy, nor evil, but rather are sanctioned or created for the good of man. Created things are not a part of Christ's spiritual kingdom, with the exception of the physical bodies of the elect, which will be preserved in the resurrection of the dead. At that day of final resurrection those bodies will become holy. (Rom 14, Col 2:20-23, Gal 4:9-11)

New Covenant Theology: New Covenant Theology Doctrine; Predestination

New Covenant Theology: New Covenant Theology Doctrine

This blog post focuses on the doctrine of absolute predestination:

1.God has predestined a chosen people to be saved through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The result of this finished work of Christ is the application of the truth of this act into the hearts of those predestined to believe. Faith is a gift. (2 Tim 2:25, Philippians 1:29) The gospel message of Christ's death and  resurrection is applied to the heart of the elect sovereignly, Christ is revealed in the elect at God's chosen time (Gal ch 1), making the doctrine of free will a false gospel. (Romans ch. 9) Since Jesus laid down His life for the sheep, the atonement is a full atonement for all sin, including unbelief, and a limited atonement in that it is a full atonement for only those chosen in Christ from before the foundation of the world. (John 10:11-16)

Religion has a woman problem - The Washington Post

Religion has a woman problem - The Washington Post

If religion is about moving up a corporate ladder as this absurd article posits, then all I can say is Wow!

But digging deeper, we see the Tony Blair religious foundation? Tony Blair was a murdering PM who sold out to George W Bush. He made himself rich off of oil wars.

Then you have the Church of England, a manifestation of church and state. That is just a no no according to scripture. Christ said His Kingdom is not of this world, therefore it is not of the UK empire!

Again, this article is wrong on just so many levels.

Are political campaigns attacking religion unfair?|Daily Trojan

Are political campaigns attacking religion unfair?|Daily Trojan

I am no fan of atheists. (I was one myself before being called to Christ) The arrogance of atheism is obvious, in that they cannot say God's revelation within the elect is bogus. They have no way of knowing. The only way people can know is to follow the dotrine of folks over time to see if they are coming around to the full truth of the Way or not.

Having said that, Daffany Chan, in this University of Southern California news article, is trying to defend Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin has no defense. She has proved by her beliefs to be not even close to the Way. She believes in Dominionism, the taking of land by force for Christ. That in itself shows that she is an imposter.

But the atheist Silverman won't be shaming these leaders because they have no shame. The conclusion is that they are all lost and if not saved by sovereign grace, will remain that way until the final judgement.

History Channel’s Bible Is a Hit. Does That Mean TV Will Get Religion? | TIME.com

History Channel’s Bible Is a Hit. Does That Mean TV Will Get Religion? | TIME.com

Making money off of selling religion is expressly forbidden by the Apostle Paul.

I am pretty sure that, down the road, the History Channel will sell this work to someone in syndication, in clear violation of God's principles. See: The Gospel Is Not for Sale!

Making money off advertising is a murky distinction from selling the Word. I have decided to abandon that choice, and only seek voluntary purchases of my non religious ebooks.

And then, of course, these religious history programs are subject to the interpretation of the historians. I don't watch them because I have seen this practice happen over and over as a means to promote a false teaching.

My sober conversion to atheism - Salon.com

My sober conversion to atheism - Salon.com

Someone who is not elect, not called by grace, has to be either agnostic or atheistic. If by those terms one means "I don't know if there is a God" or in the case of the atheist, 'I don't know God', then those are honest responses.

On the other hand, if someone feels the guilt of conscience. and thinks they are saved, they are deceiving themselves.

If the atheist says, "there is no God", he is a liar because he doesn't know outside of his own experience of not being brought to God. But that movement toward God can only be by the election of grace, by God's will, or else it is in vain. Man runs, man tries, but that is all for nothing.

Bible belt religion is not based on election, but rather on free will. The idea of the AA guy saying you pray but it isn't important that God hear prayers, that the faith comes from fellowship, well, all that is bunk. And as far as steps to God, there are no steps…

How the religious right is undermining education - Salon.com

How the religious right is undermining education - Salon.com

Both Salon and these religious right wingers are idiots. I say a pox on both camps. Salon is full of it by not respecting religion just because it does not respect the right wing fanatics. But Salon should be careful about throwing around the term "biblical" as being something less than important. When Salon says these right wingers are Biblically driven, Salon is wallowing in it's own corruption of unbelief.

On the other hand, the odious voucher people (there could be a few that are not odious) are filled with dangerous fusion of church/state doctrine and impulse. Their sinful impulses prove their unbelief as well. Christ said His Kingdom is not of this world and Christians come to this truth. The imposters don't believe. That includes people like Palin and Perry, DeVos and the Heritage Foundation.

So, I say, a pox on both there houses, as both sides are lost, because few are called and the politically pow…
