The American Flag Is Not Holy

The American flag is not holy. It is esteemed and cherished by many. But it cannot be holy. The flags of other nations are not holy either. The protests by the NFL offend some patriots. I won't  take sides because I see both sides. But for those who believe the flag is holy, they are making a big mistake, and the idea of a holy flag reeks of fascism.

 As I wrote to a close friend:

It boils down to what the word sacred means. I believe the gospel of Christ is the only power of God. So that which is of God is sacred. With that understanding I believe people cherish and esteem their flags. But flags cannot be holy. They cannot have religious significance or it would be a form of sacralism. That is my world view in a nutshell. The Kingdom of Christ is invisible. If it had a flag, that flag would be holy.
Only God is Holy! No one is holy, no flag is holy, nothing on earth is holy. The bodies of the believers are set apart for future redemption. The souls of the elect who are saved but …

Some Interesting Findings About Jewish People

The times of the Gentiles have been fulfilled, and Israel, though a fake Zion, is a sign of that truth. Therefore, it is interesting to know something about Jewish people. I think these findings are somewhat accurate although the jury is still out about the Ethiopian Jews, who may be more related to other Jews than this passage indicates.
