My Christian View of Israel's Purpose

As a Christian, I have a world view concerning the nation of Israel, from a biblical perspective. I first want to say that I view Christian Zionism as not being Christian at all. Israel has a purpose but it is not what the Christian Zionists think.

Israel's existence heralds the end of time. Israel's existence is not for the reestablishment of the old covenant. If Christ is the perfect sacrifice, there is no need for another temple or the reestablishment of the Levitical priesthood.

Israel's existence is a mixed blessing. I believe that while it is God's will that Israel exist to the end of time, it has none of the spiritual status of the Old Covenant. Christ's covenant is in force now. There is no need for another Zion.

My DNA connects me to Israel, and to Jews in many places. That is why I say it is a mixed blessing. Christ basically said in Luke 21:24 that the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. That means for me that the end is near as a few descendants of Jacob will come to Christ. I believe I am one of those persons with Jewish and ancient Hebrew DNA.

Romans 11 is Paul's prophesy that some descendants of Jews would indeed be grafted into the olive tree (Christ's Zion) at the end of time. This is happening now.

The blessing is mixed because Israel has done bad things to my nation, the United States. It has done the Lavon Affair, and that was proven in court. It has done other actions which are not necessarily provable but are along the same lines.

The Lavon Affair was a false flag, an attack on US installations in Egypt in 1954 for the purpose of blaming others. Israel has likely attacked the USA at other times. I won't go into those here, because they can be found on the internet. These show that Israel has abused the United States from time to time in history. The full extent of this abuse is difficult to ascertain.

We do know that Israel has influenced our nation with respect to Muslims and with respect to the Palestinians. America has been an imperfect tolerant nation. Israel is not a tolerant nation. Israel wants the USA to be more like Israel in a bad way.

But I have Israeli DNA cousins, with Israeli DNA emails! Here is what I have learned from my DNA attachment to Ashkenazi Jewish people through my Sephardic roots as a Ramirez by birth:

1. I have learned that I have about 200 known triangulated Ashkenazi 5th and 6th cousins.

2. I have learned that I have ancient Hebrew/Assyrian DNA through the Gedrosian admixture tests based on the research of Doron Behar and other scientists who found ancient middle east DNA.

3. I have learned that my Ashkenazi cousins are all related to the Palestinians! This is through admixture testing at Gedmatch. This means that the nation of Israel should treat the Palestinians better than they do because they all came from Jacob.

4. I also have Arab DNA and Druze, Bedouin, and other middle east DNA, through my natural father (Ramirez), as well.

So then, Israel is not holy but it is a sign of a significant shift in the plan redemption. Jews, both Sephardic and Ashkenazi, and those with even a little Jewish DNA or who are in line of Jewish DNA from way back are called to Christ. People don't have to live in Israel to be saved. Most probably won't. Gentiles are full up. It is a mystery why.

I believe there are many Latino and Arab persons with ancient ties to Jacob. They can be redeemed in Christ if God calls them to fulfill Romans 11.

It does not means that Jews who are redeemed will suddenly not be a part of Christ's Zion. There is only one invisible church before and after the sign of Israel became a reality in 1948. Since the early church, this Zion is rarely reflected in visible churches like the Gentiles who took part in the 1st London Baptist Confession.

Most baptists have abandoned this truth of the gospel power, adopting the 1689 Baptist confession which tries to replace the gospel power with law conviction and is like the Westminster Presbyterian confession. That is not the way to eternal life.

Truth is, the Zion that is on earth is small.

So then, Israel's behavior as a government will be judged for the evil it has committed, just like any other nation. There are no more holy nations. If there are Christians in Israel that is wonderful. But they have to leave behind the Christian Zionism/Dispensationalism that is not biblical. The covenant that matters, Christ's, is in force and there is no need for another.

Pray for Israel and for the Palestinians, and for each other as the end approaches. We do not know that date, but we know that it has been 2000 years since the early church was in existence. The last days, as a day to God is like 1000 years, are upon us! We are in the third day of the last days.

Christ said this, in Matthew 7:13-14 a most sobering thing:

13Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it.

That passage is reinforced by Romans Chapter 9. It is the nature of this journey, that those who are chosen in Christ are not doing the choosing. Redemption is all based on God's grace and mercy.
