Regarding salvation, I was in a non married relationship with a divorced woman in Ojai, California back in the early 70's, which resulted in my salvation. To explain, I was saved while being in the relationship, and then departed it. I was not saved by first leaving the relationship, so in Charles Spurgeon's eyes I cannot be saved. I beg to differ.
I spent some time studying with Jon Zens from 1978 through 1982. I received some basic information but no joy of the Spirit that I have regained since separating from him. My concern these days is to rightly present law and gospel and their important, crucial differences to the elect so that they can be free in Christ apart from the legalists who are everywhere.

The "Christian" Forum is especially evil because it requires those who wish to post in the "Christians Only" portion of the forum to accept the Nicene Creed. Of course the Nicene Creed requires the subordination of the Son eternally. This false doctrine is based upon the faulty interpretation of Psalm 2:7 (the correct interpretation is that Christ is begatten by resurrection in Acts 13:33). I have been censored by these pretenders and blind followers of orthodoxy. My only reason for linking to them is to let them know I am still around.

Warning. Bethel Ministries has some truth and is useful for study, however Harry Bethel is at this point an extreme legalist; opposing a secular Xmas , ie exchanging gifts. (Religious Xmas is pagan in origin so I don't believe in keeping this day or any religious day for that matter. I would not forbid it if one is sincere and does not judge me).
Harry also opposes many legitimate job categories (I work at the front desk of a major hotel casino); rock music (He hasn't heard Fleetwood Mac Tusk album!); women working out of the home; television, etc, etc. To substitute the law of Moses with the law of Harry is another example of false religion. He also has warnings for the United States regarding behavior. He says he does not support the USA becoming a "Christian nation" but he talks just like the Theonomists in his warnings.

While the following website is good for study, the author errs, along with many others, with regard to making Covenant Theology a recent system. It is not recent, in fact sacral religion depends upon the concept of one covenant of grace, different administrations, ie old and new. Just because Calvin did not use the term does not mean he did not endorse this major foundational doctrine of Covenant Theology! Sacral religion has always looked to Moses for its authority. That legalism has always been central to Covenant Theology. The domain ifca.org can no longer be found.

My StumbleUpon PageFrom the waffler Jon Piper's website at http://www.desiringgod.org an excellent overview of NCT. It is unfortunate that he cannot believe the truth that he seems to understand:
"New covenant theology typically does not hold to a covenant of works or one overarching covenant of grace (although they would still argue for only one way of salvation). The essential difference between New Covenant Theology (hereafter NCT) and Covenant Theology (CT), however, concerns the Mosaic Law. CT holds that the Mosaic Law can be divided into three groups of laws--those regulating the government of Israel (civil laws), ceremonial laws, and moral laws. The ceremonial law and civil law are no longer in force because the former was fulfilled in Christ and the latter only applied to Israel's theocracy, which is now defunct. But the moral law continues.
NCT argues that one cannot divide the law up in that way, as though part of the Mosaic Law can be abrogated while the rest remains in force. The Mosaic Law is a unity, they say, and so if part of it is canceled, all of it must be canceled. On top of this, they say that the New Testament clearly teaches that the Mosaic Law as a whole is superseded in Christ. It is, in other words, no longer our direct and immediate source of guidance. The Mosaic Law, as a law, is no longer binding on the believer."
It is so unfortunate that a man of Piper's education and comprehension could waffle so much on his beliefs. It goes to show that with man it is impossible, with God all things are possible:
"John Piper has some things in common with each of these views, but does not classify himself within any of these three camps. He is probably the furthest away from dispensationalism, although he does agree with dispensationalism that there will be a millennium. Many of his theological heroes have been covenant theologians (for example, many of the Puritans), and he does see some merit in the concept of a pre-fall covenant of works, but he has not taken a position on their specific conception of the covenant of grace. In regards to his views on the Mosaic Law, he seems closer to new covenant theology than covenant theology, although once again it would not work to say that he precisely falls within that category."
This is a post to the "Christian Forum". I was banned by Belvinia from the forum for making this statement:
Goldenviolet, I appreciate the welcome from everyone. But the person who owns this forum has to take a stand for or against the Nicene Creed. The Nicene Creed was written in the 4th century to unite the church under Constantine. Not only did the sacral Catholic and then Protestant churches get it wrong regarding the generation of Christ, but they also are responsible for persecutions, holy wars, murders and all manner of evil. Sacralism is responsible for the Inquisitions, torture, murder of Servetus by Calvin, murder of the King of England by Cromwell, hatred against the Jews formented by Luther, sowing the seeds of Naziism and that is just a beginning!
So, if we bow down to the Nicene Creed we bow down to sacralism and all that came with it. So, the owner has a responsibility to tell me if requirement for posting in the Christian only forum requires allegence to the Nicene Creed. A simple yes or no will suffice. If he answers that it is necessary then I cannot accept his bondage. But that is up to him, he is the owner. But this also makes all of you who read this subject to a moral decision to either accept bondage of requiring acceptance of a false doctrine or to quit this forum. If you have trouble with this you can feel free to email me at bgamall4@yahoo.com Again, I would love to take part in this forum, but it cannot be by accepting a creed that I know came from sacralistic error.
