Almost Everyone Is Going to Hell and It Saddens Me

Almost everyone is going to hell. Really. Almost every human being on the planet is not called to Christ. I write this on the day Kobe Bryant died. And it saddens me.

Rich men are not saved, and I am a sports fan. But I know the ultimate fate of the wealthy sports icons. As our Lord and Savior said, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to be chosen in Christ.

But it isn't just the rich. If I knew 10 Christian's in a world of 7 billion, I would rejoice. They could be out there, somewhere. But know this, narrow is the way. It is predetermined who Christ reveals himself to. It was predetermined before the world was created.

I can express my concern until I am blue in the face, yet the gospel is rejected in favor of free will or law guilt or just raw unbelief!

You don't want to go to hell. Can I scare you into believing? Only if it is God's will. I fear for the people, the masses of people who will be lost. I fear for the regular people, not for the most of wealthy or powerful, who do evil and oppress the rest of humanity. But I fear for Kobe!

The regular people are not like Elie Wiesel, who hated God for the Holocaust. Hate God and you deserve hell! (God speaks to those now who have even a thimble full of Jewish decent in Romans 11.)

But my heart hurts for the people who don't hate God, but are not called to love him, either.

Believe in the Lord who suffered, died, and was raised from the dead for salvation of the chosen ones. God did not have to save anyone! He chose to save a few.

Remember what James the Apostle said about businessmen in James chapter 4:

13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” 16 As it is, you boast in your arrogant schemes. All such boasting is evil.

And remember what Job 14:5 says about our time to die (or perhaps a few remain for the Coming of the Lord as the end is near. They will be saved from the massive death of billions of people on the Last Day):

A person’s days are determined;
    you have decreed the number of his months
    and have set limits he cannot exceed.
