Sephardic Roots

This is my Sephardic test result:

http://www.newcovenanttheology.com/2017/02/my-gedmatch-sephardic-and-moroccan.html

While the link above showing the test that proves the Sephardic connection, the test below shows much more. It is interesting that this test likely shows the connection to Assyrian diaspora, and then links to literally all over the Mediterranean Sea, including Cyprus and Sicily, as well as Kurdish and Iraqi Jewish, Iranian Jewish, and Georgian Jewish connections that stem from historical migrations of Jewish people.

This is ancient DNA. This ancient DNA is affected by my natural mother who was British and my natural father who was Iberian, with a line traced to the Canary Islands.

Personal data has been read. 20 approximations mode.

The Law of Moses Is a Curse

Yes it is true. The law of Moses is a curse. The law is good, but it is external to the heart. It is a curse to mankind because it condemns mankind to failure. The law of Moses requires sinless perfection. Genesis 28:58-68.

But Christ kept the law and offered the perfect sacrifice to free the chosen from the curse of the law! Galatians 3:13. Paul established the law by confirming Christ was the fulfillment of the types and shadows found in the law. Roman's 3:31. But the ordinances tied to those types and shadows were rolled away. Colossians 2:16-17.

The law of Christ is a law of freedom and faith reckoned to the accounts of the elect til the end of life. It is a law which will result in spiritual success. Those in Christ are freed from the law of sin and death.

Scriptures for study:
Eph 2:15 (law is abolished),
Heb 8:13 (Old Covenant is abolished),
2 Cor 3 (the letter kills and that written on stone is powerless and kills.),
Heb 7:11,12,18,19 9 (Change of priesthood brings change…

Times of the Gentiles; Fullness of the Gentiles

The times of the Gentiles in Luke 21:24 is no different than the Fullness of the Gentiles in Romans 11. The Gentiles have all been redeemed, having been called for almost 2000 years.

Could a Gentile still be truly regenerated for divine repentance? I hope so. But it isn't a certainty.

Israel is only a sign in redemptive history. It is not a holy nation. But the elect Gentiles have been saved. Their fullness is completed. A multitude of them have been saved according to the book of Revelation.

The Lord now shifts to those who are descended from Jacob. These are broad and many. The offspring of Jacob span many nations throughout the world. Roman's chapter 11 speaks to that descent.

But, only a few of these will be called by His sovereign grace to become Christians.

A few thoughts.

First, the 144 thousand in the book of Revelation cannot be all Hebrews and modern Jews. After all, Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and Lot were not part of a tribe. While the 144 thousand may be literate …

Law of Christ Replaces Law of Moses

The Law of Christ replaced the Law of Moses. With a change of priesthood came a change of law. The law of Christ is the law of faith to the end. Faith is a gift of God. The gospel power convicts the chosen of sin and places them under the New Law of Christ.

The law of Moses requires sinless perfection. Christ fulfilled it and His resurrection abolished it: (Eph 2:15)

The elect are justified by faith in Christ, not by works of the law. Roman's 3:28
1 Cor 9:20-21:To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews.(A) To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law),(B) so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.
Galatians 6:2: Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

James 2:10: Whoever keeps the whole law yet stumbles at one point i…
